Dutch bark ship Sirius built in Amsterdam according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant 21 May 1840

A news item dated The Hague 19 May reported that yesterday afternoon at the shipyard de Walvisch at Amsterdam by shipbuilder Jan Nuveen immediately after the launching of the Plancius the keel was laid down of the bark ship Sirius for H. Angelkot Willink (1) captain H. Mulder for the Dutch East Indies trade.
