Dutch clipper bark ship Amerika launched at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 27 April 1853

An item dated The Hague 26 April reported that the 26th at the shipyard of J.R. Boelen en Zonen at Amsterdam the clipper bark ship Amerika of 270 lasten was launched for Q. Blaauw and with as captain to be D. Schuijmer.
