Dutch schooner brig Kaapstad packet launched in Hoogezand according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuw Amsterdamsch handels- en effectenblad dated 3 September 1863

An item reported that at the shipyard of shipbuilder E.H. Meursing in Hoogezand on 29 August the schooner brig Kaapstad packet of circa 220 measured lasten was launched for F.U.H. Reiger&Co. and with as captain to be Th. Niewold.
