Mexican gunboat Tampico destroyed by air attack according to the Dutch newspaper Tilburgsche Courant dated 1 August 1913

An official telegram from Nogales reported that the pilot Husson while flying over the harbour of Guyamas destroyed with a bomb the Mexican gunboat Tampico.(1)

1. Conway’s All the world’s Fighting Ships 1906-1921 mentioned that she belonged to the Tampico-class of 980 tons, built in 1902 and destroyed on 16 July 1914.
