Brazilian tankers Presidente Washington Luiz and Presidente Duras built by Dutch shipyard according to the Dutch newspaper Het vrije volk dated Tuesday 10 November 1959

An item reported that on coming Thursday at the Dutch shipyard of Verolme Dok- en Scheepsbouwmaatschappij at Rozenburg the tanker Presidente Washington Luiz was to be launched. She was built for the Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. Petrobas at Rio de Janeiro. Mrs. Florinda Maria Pereira de Souza would baptize her. The same day was the tanker Presidente Dutra be to delivered to the same company. Both tankers had a loading capacity of 33.000 tons.
