Iranian oil for Czechoslovakia according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 10 September 1951

An item referred to an announcement of the Iranian cabinet last Sunday that Czechoslovakia wanted to buy oil from Iran and willing to supply self tankers. Asked was for  2.500.000 tons of oil of which 500.000 to be delivered at once. Lloyds at London however pointed out that Czechoslovakia did not have a seagoing merchant marine and certainly also not possessing tankers.
