An published letter dated Hellevoetsluis 27 January reported that a day earlier the Dutch frigate ship Batavia captain C. Schokwert with a draught of 18 Rijnlandse voet by A. van der Schee sea pilot of Goedereede en Maas successfully arrived at the roads of Hellevoetsluis.
