An item dated Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 25 December reported that the Dutch ship Jan Daniel captain J.H. Zeeman underway from Panaroekan and Batavia, Dutch East Indies towards Rotterdam, Netherlands take in the canal [of Voorne?] pilots on board and would enter the port of Brouwershaven with a draught of 18½ feet.
