Dutch shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Flushing building engines for torpedo boats according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 26 May 1890

An item reported that the shipyard of the Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Flushing received the order (1) to manufacture two steam engines for a torpedo boat large model and a torpedo boat small model complete similar to the four engines (2) which were already being built by this yard. The boats were to be built at the navy yard at Amsterdam.

1. Order administration Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Flushing mentioned an order dated 20 May for the torpedo boat XXIII, later the III (engine no. 113, arrived Flushing 21 August 1901, delivered 3 November, departed 4 November) and the Nobo (engine no. 114).
2. Order administration Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Flushing mentioned an order dated 29 July 1889 for the Lamongan (engine no. 109, arrived Flushing 15 April 1891, delivered 29 June 1891) and the Makjan (engine no. 110, arrived Flushing 21 April 1891) and 22 July for the XXII since 1905 Jacob Hobein (engine no. 108, delivered 17 March 1891 ) and the XXI (engine no. 107, delivered 10 March 1891).
