Dutch torpedo boat IX ramming locks according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad 28 September 1899

An item reported that the torpedo boat IX while entering the small navy locks at Nieuwediep rammed with full speed the doors of the locks while were slightly damaged. The IX was heavily damaged and two of her crewmembers wounded.
