First tanker built at Dairen, China according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuwsblad voor Sumatra dated Wednesday 13 October 1954

An item referred to a broadcast of Radio Peking that last Wednesday the first tanker of 3.700 was launched at Dairen, built by a Chinese-Russian shipbuilding firm and suitable for inland waters and sea transport.
