Former Dutch tug Java became Russian Belomorez according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder nieuwsblad dated 21 November 1933

An item reported that the Dutch tug Java in 1931 built by the Dutch shipyard Jonker en Stans at Hendrik Ido Ambacht but never was commissioned, was sold to the Soviet Union and renamed Belomorez and destined for Murmansk.
