An item reported that the gunboat Terror arrived at Puerto Rico meaning that the tiding of the New York Herald that she was destroyed was false.(1)

Displacement of 348 tons and as dimensions 192’6” (over all) x 25 x 7’(maximum) or 58,70 x 7,62 x 2,13 metres. Her crew numbered 45 men and she was armed with 1-3.5” gun, 4-6pd guns, 2-3pd revolvers and 5-15” torpedo tubes.
