Harbour tug Arikok built for Aruba according to the Dutch newspaper Het vrije volk dated 30 July 1982

An item reported that the Dutch firm Rijn-Waal Scheepswerven received a building order of ƒ 6.000.000 for a tug for the Aruba Ports Authority. This government organisation was responsible for the ports on Aruba. She was to be built at the shipyard of Jonker en Stans at Hendrik Ido Ambacht. The tug was to be delivered within seven months. The same yard built already in an earlier stadium the tug Arikok for Aruba. Another newspaper the Amigoe dated 12 March 1983 reported the departure a day earlier of a tug called Andicuri and which was expected to arrive at Aruba on 8 April.
