Italian torpedo boat exploded according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 10 January 1897

An item dated Brissago 9 January reported that a Italian torpedo boat serving for the customs service on the Lago Maggiore was lost caused by an exploding boiler. Of her crew were ten men killed.
