Panama Transport Company ordered new building of tankers according to the Dutch newspaper Amigoe di Curacao dated 27 January 1956

An item reported that the Panama Transport Company a subsidiary of Standard Oil at New Jersey ordered the building of five tankers each of a deadweight of 35.500 tons. Four were to be built in Italy and one in Japan.
