Problematic trials of Dutch torpedo boat Batok according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 3 June 1894

An item reported that on board of the Dutch torpedo boat Batok some flame pipes exploded during her trial on the measured mile day earlier on the roads of Texel. Another torpedo boat the Foka had to tow her back to Nieuwediep.
