Nordenfelt torpedo boat delivered to Russia instead to the Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 15 September 1888

An item reported that the torpedo boat Nordenfelt originally built by a British firm for the Dutch government but later transferred to the Russian government left the after a short stay the Dutch naval harbour of Nieuwediep bound for St. Petersburg.
