Soviet Union delivering oil to Lithuania according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland dated 2 February 1936

An item reported that the Soviet Union signed a contract with Lithuania for the delivery of petrol. The Soviet tanker Avanesow already arrived at Memel loaded with petrol to be followed soon by other tankers. In January signed both countries an agreement dealing with the payments.
