American bark Prins Valdemar sold to Norway according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 9 November 1916

An item dated Hamburg 28 October reported that the bark Prins Valdemar was sold for 525.000 crones to a shipping company of Christiana. Five years ago was she sold for just 55,000 crones towards San Francisco. She measured 1,227 net tons and was built in 1892 at Helsingör.
