Hopper S.D. Karnafuli built for Pakistan at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated Friday 18 March 1955

An item reported the launching on Thursday morning of the  hopper S.D. Karnafuli at the shipyard of Verschure en Co.’s Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek N.V. at Amsterdam for the Pakistan government. She was launched by the ambassador Mrs. Liaquat Ali Khan.
