Dutch cutter dredger Groningen I built at Dutch shipyard Conrad at Haarlem according to the Dutch newspaper Haarlem’s Dagblad dated Monday 9 November 1921

An item reported the launching by the sons of the owner on Saturday afternoon after 12.30 o’clock at the shipyard Conrad at Haarlem of the cutter dredger Groningen I with as dimensions 32 x 6,80 x 2,60 (hold) metres and made for a Dutch company to be used at Groningen. She was diesel electric driven allowing a crew no more as 6-7 men. Able to press the sand over a distance of 2 kilometres away.
