Polish minelayer Greif completed according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1938 no. 6

An item referred to the foreign magazine R.U.S.I. dated August 1938 which reported that the building of the Polish minelayer Greif was completed.(1) She was to be used as minelayer and as school ship for midshipmen. With a displacement of 2.250 tons was her speed 20 knots due to two diesel engines. The armament consisted of 6-12cm guns and 2-8cm anti aircraft guns.

1. Conway’s All the world’s Fighting Ships 1922-1946 calls her Gryf, launched on 29 November 1936 at the French shipyard A.C. Augustin-Normand and sunk on 3 September 1939.
