Romanian naval intentions according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 3

An item referred to the foreign magazine N.a.M. Record reporting that the Romanian cabinet intended to found a naval base at Costanza and to built 6-4.000 ton fast armoured cruisers, 12 high sea torpedo boats, 4 Danube monitors and some other vessels. Total costs 3.8 million pounds. Another item reported that Romania bought two 1.500/1.850 ton destroyers which were built in 1912 in England for Chile.
