An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht which reported that the Russian battleship Tervisan of 12.700 ton arrived at Boston, USA after a trial of 12 hours with a medium speed of 18,8 miles.(1)

This must be the Retvizan, laid down by William Cramp&Sons, Philadelphia, USA on 20 July 1899, launched on 23 October 190, commissioned on 23 March 1902, sunk by Japanese gunfire at Port Arthur on 6 December 1904, captured by Japanese forces on 2 January 1905 and commissioned as the Hizen in Japanse naval servic and finally sink while used as a gun target on 25 July 1925.
