An item referred to the foreign magazine Le Yacht reporting that the Turkish admiralty intended to order the building of a large number of torpedo boats at American and British shipyards. In the meantime they received tenders from Le Creusot for 350.000 and from Armstrong for 850.000 francs for each boat.
