USA ordered building of submarines at the Electric Boat Company according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1912-1913 no. 10

An item reported that the Electric Boat Company received orders for building 5 submarines, 4 with a displacement of around 600 ton and the fifth one of around 750 ton all to be completed within 2 years.
