An item referred to the Bataviaasch Nieuwsblad which reported that the N.V. Droogdokmaatschappij Tandjong Priok was building two police vessels to be delivered in the end of the year. With a length of 35 metres were these vessels to develop a high speed. The same yard was also building eight patrol vessels of the Dutch navy in the Dutch East Indies .
