An item referred to the magazine Proc. dated April 1932 reporting that the first complete electric welded American warships the tug motor tug No. 115 was launched at 18 February at Boston. A second item published in the magazine Schiffbau dated 15 April reported that she was fitted out with 2-400 hp diesels connected with 2-260kW 300 rpm generators.
