An item reported that the three battleships for which building that year the Austrian navy asked a budget were to be armed with 10-34cm L/45 guns. In the original design they would have 5x2 turrets on the centerline. In the meantime was on board of the US Nevada-class chosen for four turrets namely 2x3 and 2x2 turrets.
