British shipyards building Russian trawlers according to the Dutch newspaper De waarheid dated 26 November 1953

An item dated London 26 November reported that the British cabinet approved the building of 30 trawlers by British shipyards for the Soviet Union. The minister of navy announced this decision in the Parliament. In the American newspapers had been a lot of commotion dealing with this building. Some groups tried to prevent the building with as excuse that the ships could be converted into minesweepers.
