German destroyers and submarines using Zeebrugge as naval base according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 24 July 1915

An item dated London 23 July referred to a telegram received from Gent reporting that a number of German destroyers arrived at Zeebrugge and anchored in the inner harbour. During the night they passed the canals and it was expected that some submarines would do the same on short notice.
