Japan captured Russian steamship Mandsjoeria according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder Courant dated 17 February 1904

An item dated London the 15^th referred to a tiding received from Lloyds that the East Asiatic steamship Mandsjoeria was seized by Japan and brought into the port of Saseboi. The editors believed that she was identical to the so-called Russian transport which was lying at Nagasaki.
