Russian submarines according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 30 January 1915

An item reported that it was believed that it was a Russian submarine torpedoed the German small cruiser in the Baltic although she did not sunk. Until now Russian submarines had not been very active although it was known that Russian shipyards were building twelve large submarines. It was suspected that those submarines were completed and commanded by British officers.
