Dutch Droogdok-Maatschappij at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies received order for building tug ro Manila according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 23 March 1937

An item dated Surabaya the 22ned reported hat engineer Hulshoff of the Droogdok-Maatschappij Soerabaja departed that day towards Manila to investigate the shipbuilding market over there. Despite concurrency with similar companies at Hong Kong managed his company to get an order for building a 150hp tug with a length of 20 meters to be used at Manila.
