Dutch tug Upesi serving off East African coast according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 31 March 1937

An item reported that the tug Upesi built at Boele’s Scheepswerven at Bolnes for account of the Holland-Afrika-Lijn [Vereenigde Nederlandsche Scheepvaart Mij. at The Hague] was departed towards Mo[m]bassa (East Africa) to be used as a river tug. She steamed on her own power via the Suez Canal to her new destination.
