Russian tug Solombala built at Martenshoek, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 24 June 1935

An item reported that on Saturday the new tug Solombala performed well during her trial on the Eems. She was built at the shipyard of Gebr. G.&H. Bodewes at Martenshoek and was sold to the Soviet Morflot of Archangelsk. Dimensions 28.00 x 6,50 x 3,35 metres. Fitted out with a triple expansion engine supplying 550 hp t 160 rpm allowing a trial speed of 10 miles. The boiler had a heating surface of 180 square metres. Fitted out with an electrically light equipment.
