Tug Haifa built at Vlaardingen, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 14 September 1931

An item reported the delivery of the newly built tug Haifa by the shipyard of the N.V. Vlaardingsche Machinefabriek I.A. Kreber. Fitted out with a 200 ihp vertical triple expansion steam engine and a boiler with a 72 heating surface of 71 square metres and steam pressure of 15 atmosphere. She departed a day earlier under own power towards Haifa, Palestina [Israel] to be used at the harbour works over there.
