An item reported referred to a tiding received from Copenhagen reporting that the American steam tanker Pawnee underway from Port Arthur towards Stockholm stranded off the island Nidingen on a dangerous location. Her cargo was pumped overboard. A salvage tug was nearby for assistance if needed.
