Belgian shipyards building merchant ships for the Soviet Union according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 26 March 1959

An item reported that the Soviet Union ordered the building of twelve ships consisting of 5-3.000 ton cargo ships and 7-1.500 ton trawlers by Belgian shipyards. Total costs were estimated to be 350.000.000 Belgian francs.
