Italian steam tanker Centaurus visited Cuxhaven according to the Dutch newspaper Voorwaarts dated 14 May 1928

An item dated Cuxhaven the 10th reported that the Italian steam tanker Centaurus lost at the quarantine station an anchor with a chain of 15 fathoms length. The tug Eisvogel salvaged anchor and chain. The Centaurus was underway from Rotterdam towards Hamburg.
