New keel lighter for Dutch navy establishment at Surabaya according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 18 November 1887

An item reported that at the navy establishment at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies a new keel lighter with a carrying  capacity of 8 tons was fitted out to replace the condemned wood-built small one built in 1865.
