British tug W.D. Teal (1943) 1946->1965

Launched on 16 November 1943 with yard number T1462 as a so-called TID tug for the War Department and completed in January of the next year. In 1946 required by the Westminster Dredging Company Limited. Her funnel was black painted with yellow and a light blue panel. In her service fitted out with a fuel-fired engine. She stranded on 4 August 1950 on a sandbank in the rivr Dee and sunk. On 11 September salvaged transported to Mostyn and repaired at the Bromborough Dock. After being repaired decommissioned as the Teal. Around 1965 transport by ship to New Zealand where she was to be used in the Gisborne Harbour building project. Her fate is unknown although she seemed to be sold to the Far East. Tonnage of 54 gross tons. Her original reciprocating steam engine supplied 220 ihp
