Wijnne and Barends of Groningen, Netherlands received concession for a towing service according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 20 September 1864

An item reported that the minister of home affaires decided on the 17th to give Wijnne and Barends, shipping agents at Groningen, Netherlands a concession for a steam towing service on the Reitdiep.
