Colombian privateers active off Gibraltar according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 29 July 1823

London, 25 July. From Gibraltar was 3 July reported that two Colombian privateers cruised for some time outside the Strait and captured several rich loaded vessels. One privateer was called President Bolivar and armed with 18 guns.
