The ships Nieuw Walcheren and Hofvliet were sending directly towards Surat, a third ship was to load at Galle 400.000 lb areka nuts and at Malabar 200.000 lb pepper, all destined for Malabar. The Proostwijk loaded at Malabar 200.000 lb pepper destined for Mokka, the Ritthem another 100.000 lb for Persia. The costs of repairing the Adriana, namely ƒ 1473, were to be paid by Ceylon. At the yard was a ship with a length of 110 feet built.
