French order dealing with the strength of the crews on her ships according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 5 August 1824

Paris, 31 July. In the Bulletin des Lois no. 683 was a royal order published dealing with the strength of the crews and the staffs. A 126-gun ship (former 120) had for instance 722 men in peace and 1070 men in wartime, 60-gun frigates 392 respectively 504 men, gabares of 200 ton in peace and wartime 43 men and so on.
