French troop transport Saint Pierre entered Dover, England according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 18 December 1824

London, 14 December. From Dover arrived the tiding that the French transport St. Pierre with on board 50 soldiers coming from Le Havre and destined towards Martinique anchored in the port due to her damage. She had to be caulked which was the reason that the commanding officer at Dover was requested for an empty barrack to serve as an accommodation for the French soldiers. This request was honoured and last Friday went the French soldiers to a barrack next to one used by British soldiers.
