Paris,
20 January. Together with tidings dated 22 December 1825 coming from Smyrna was
a letter received, written by a French officer who visited the coasts of
Greece. He mentioned that the Turkish fleet, commanded by the Captain pasha,
left Navarino 17 November towards Patras to attack the Greek fleet. The Greek
fleet however was divided with the ships leaving in different directions.
