Launching of the Dutch merchant brig ship Vice Admiral Lucas at Groningen according to the Dutch newspaper Schiedamsche Courant dated Saturday 19 April 1851

Schiedam, 18 April 1851. On 15 April is at the yard of De Kater en Meulman at Groningen the brig ship Vice-Admiraal Lucas of around 200 lasten on behalf of the company Prins&Co. at Schiedam launched. Her master was to be J.K. de Weerd.
